Working With Found Objects
Working with collected “stuff”, students in this workshop might make there own recycled “found object” sculptures. Also possible, would be to pick a theme, mandalas, butterflies, birds, something of your choosing and have the students each make a wall plaque which would all come together and make a quilt.

“The workshop I took with Bryant was one of the best educational experiences I've ever had. (Born in 1945, I have been around the block a few times) Expanding the boundaries of art and how to make it, she created an Exhilarating, liberating and empowering trip. And the best thing about it was having the opportunity to be around Bryant--to see how she sees--and to learn from an inspiring and inspired Artist and teacher.”
Janine Fay--Educator, Artist, Organizer, Entrepreneur, Mother, Friend

“Perhaps that is what Holsenbeck’s work is really about; we are a throw-away society and maybe we should begin to think about how we can use and reuse the thing we make.”
Blue Greenberg--art critic
